How are providers included in the CareLike Database?

Data is obtained from several hundred sources at federal, state, and local levels in addition to partnerships established with professional associations. Each category may be procured from a different set of sources depending on whether the service is licensed in a particular state or not.

CareLike also performs regular outreach to service providers so they can add their business profile if it falls within the categories we currently maintain. Businesses can be added at no charge to the CareLike database. Before submissions from businesses are published in the CareLike database, the information is reviewed by the quality assurance department.

How many service listings does CareLike have in each category?

Category counts change pretty frequently but you can find the most current category counts here: Business Data

How often is the CareLike database refreshed?

We have staff dedicated to updating the data on a daily basis; however, due to the sheer volume of data to review we estimate the database is currently fully refreshed 2-3 times a year.

CareLike is a national database but I only need service listings for a particular region.

That’s OK. We can provide a file with just the listings you need and will price it accordingly. We work with our customers to determine their needs, how best to deliver the data and work together to build a proposal that works for everyone.

Why do some listings have more details than others?

CareLike obtains as much information as possible on each service listed within our database. In addition to obtaining information from our established resources, we regularly reach out to business owners or authorized agents of a business to claim their business listing to include additional details about the services they offer. We strive to provide our end users with robust information.

I don’t see a business listing for a care service in my area

There could be several reasons a care service isn’t listed in our database. Please contact us at support@carelike.com with the business name, address and contact information of the business you feel should be added.

A business location in my community has a listing in the CareLike Database but it has recently closed. What should I do?

Is there a preferred way to contact the services listed in the CareLike Database?

Any contact information included in a business listing is a valid way to contact a service provider.

Which browsers are supported by Patient Support Source?

Patient Support Source supports the majority of modern browsers on desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets.
